Payment

Payment at toll stations

The toll is usually paid in cash at the toll stations. You can pay in the Bosnian currency Convertible Mark (BAM) or in Euros. Almost all toll stations offer payment by debit and credit card.

Electronic payment

In the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is possible to pay tolls on the A1 motorway electronically using the ACC transponder in the pre-payment procedure. The transponder system offers several advantages. On the one hand, users receive an attractive discount of around 20% on the toll charges. On the other hand, the transponder's credit can be recharged and is valid for an unlimited period of time. The transponder can be purchased at any toll station and is linked to the vehicle licence plate number.

In the sub-regions of the Republika Srpska there is a separate regulation for tolls on the motorways around Banja Luka. Here it is possible to pay the toll electronically using the ENP transmitter. This device can be purchased at the toll stations in Jakupovci, Prnjavor and Kladari. It offers drivers a convenient and time-saving way to pay the toll.
