Eurovision Song Contest 2025 - A musical spectacle in Basel
The 69th Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) will take place from 13th to 17th May 2025 in Basel, following Nemo’s victory for Switzerland with the song The Code in Malmö in 2024. Under the slogan "United by Music" Europe once again celebrates its diversity and unity through music.

- First Semi-Final: 13th May 2025
- Second Semi-Final: 15th May 2025
- Grand Final: 17th May 2025
The venue for the event is the St. Jakobshalle in Basel, a modern arena with a capacity of approximately 12,400 spectators—providing the perfect stage for Europe's biggest music festival

These countries are included:
A total of 37 countries are taking part in ESC 2025. The ‘Big Five’ - Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom - as well as the host country Switzerland have qualified directly for the final. The remaining countries will compete in the two semi-final rounds to qualify for the grand final on 17 May.

- Eurovision Village: Located in Hall 1 of Messe Basel, it offers a varied daily programme from 12 noon onwards, featuring live concerts, public viewings, and diverse culinary options.
- EuroClub & Café: Also situated at Messe Basel, this event hall serves as the central meeting point for fans and delegations to celebrate and mingle together.
- Eurovision Square: At Barfüsserplatz in the heart of Basel, various events and activities will enrich the ESC experience.
- Eurovision Street: The Steinenvorstadt transforms into a lively festival promenade with street artists and culinary highlights, perfect for strolling and enjoyment.
- Eurovision Boulevard: The area stretching from Bahnhof SBB to Badischer Bahnhof will be festively decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors to explore and enjoy.
