Bled

The Old Vine in Maribor
The world’s oldest grape vine is found at the centre of the city of Maribor. Over 400 years old, it is the only plant with its own museum – the House of the Old Vine. Visitors to Maribor can attend various events in honour of the Queen of Vines, among them the Pruning of the Old Vine, St. Martin’s Day and the Old Vine Festival. It even has its own hymn, which inhabitants of the city will often be heard singing.
Lipica
The home of the Lipizzans. The ancestral stud farm of the noble white horses has been situated in Lipica in the Karst region since 1580. Europe’s oldest stud farm and home to the same breed of horses for 400 years, it is a cultural and historical monument that delights visitors.
Piran
Piran’s prosperity was built on the salt pans, where salt and the precious fleur de sel are still extracted according to traditional methods.
Logar Valley
Logar is home to one of the most beautiful Alpine glacial valleys in Europe.
